The green share
1% of every bid goes to environmental protection
Attention is bought and sold every day and none of it pays for anything outside itself. On this board a fixed share of every verified bid leaves the business and goes to environmental protection. It is the one number here we are held to rather than ranked by.
What the share is measured against
1% of the gross amount of every verified bid, before our costs and before any payment processing fee. A $100 position contributes $1. Free listings pay nothing and therefore contribute nothing.
When it is paid
Quarterly, within 30 days of the end of each calendar quarter, covering every bid verified in that quarter. Refunded and charged back bids drop out of the calculation for the quarter they fall in.
How you can check it
Each quarter we publish the total bid volume for the period, the resulting 1% figure, and the receipt from the recipient organisation. If a quarter is missing from this page, the donation for it has not been made, and you should say so at support@outbids.app.
What this is not
It is not a carbon offset, it does not make a listing climate neutral, and it says nothing about the destinations listed on this board. It is a donation of a fixed share of revenue, and that is the whole of the claim.
Published donations
The board went live in August 2026. The first donation covers the quarter ending 30 September 2026 and will be published here with its receipt. Nothing has been donated yet, because nothing has been earned yet.
