Rules and how it works

How ranking works

Your verified total decides the order. The highest total holds rank #1, and equal totals keep the earlier verified position. The minimum paid bid is $1 and amounts are whole US dollars. All-time keeps the lifetime verified total. Today ranks only what was verified between midnight and midnight in board time. Week ranks Monday through Sunday and resets at the end of that week.

Payment and publishing

Stripe is the active checkout provider and the merchant of record. A paid listing becomes public only after we receive and verify Stripe's signed payment confirmation. A pending, failed, reversed or unverified checkout does not publish a paid position. Free listings publish immediately after validation and sit below every paid position.

Re-bids and duplicates

Submit the same website or handle to update an existing listing. On the all-time board you enter a higher total and only the difference is charged. The same destination cannot hold two active listings, so re-submitting never creates a second card.

What may be listed

Public product websites, legitimate services, public profiles and handles, public code repositories and app store pages may be submitted. Destination metadata is fetched automatically so the public card shows a current name and description, and it is refreshed periodically.

Safety and content policy

We do not accept pornography, sexual services, explicit sexual material, nudity focused pages, sexual solicitation, violence, gore, weapons, terrorism, illegal drugs or drug sales, illegal goods, hate or harassment, exploitation, scams, phishing, malware, spyware, deceptive redirects, impersonation, copyright abuse or any other unlawful or harmful content.

This applies to the submitted destination and to the fetched title, description, images and destination content. Automated checks and human review may reject a submission before payment or publication. If prohibited content is discovered after publication, the listing may be hidden or deleted immediately without preserving its rank. Payment does not create an exception to this policy.

Shorteners, chat invites and tracking links

Link shorteners, chat and invite links, and redirect services are rejected. Affiliate, referral and tracking query parameters may be stripped or normalised. Submit the canonical public destination instead.

Clicks and public visibility

Outbound clicks are measured through a tracked redirect. The same anonymous visitor counts at most once per listing per board day. Listings, ranks, totals, categories, titles, descriptions and click counts are public and may be indexed by search engines.

Categories and corrections

Categories and public metadata may be assigned or refreshed automatically. If something is inaccurate or prohibited, write to support@outbids.app and we may correct, pause or remove it.

After payment

When Stripe confirms a valid payment, the listing publishes and you see a confirmation page with the amount paid, your rank and a link to the public card. Your receipt comes from Stripe. A paid position can be passed by a higher verified amount and does not guarantee impressions, leads, revenue or a fixed duration.
